With
seven years experience as a freelance photographer,
Francis Tetrault is no stranger to the camera. Born and
raised in Edmonton, Alberta, he began experiementing with cameras
at the age of 14. Inspired by fashion, art and photography magazines
while growing up, he acquired shooting skills along the way.
Primarily sef taught, Francis began to focus on fashion photography
back in 1995. From this experience, eduction and self-gained
idealism, Francis acquired a freelance position in 1998 to present
day with an urban paper in Edmonton called Vue Weekly. His contribution
includes concept, organizing and styling phot shoots for the
style section, covers and occassionally written articles accompanying
selected works. With this, Francis has turned his focus on fashion
photography into an expanding business over the past seven year.

to me is the focus of capturing a moment from the model that
brings out the personality of the clothing in an environment,
that give the frame context. Combing art with fashion, I continue
